I've slapped all the 'Field Experience' reviews into Google Maps. Blue pins are for reviews; red pins for random nonsense (photos and non-judgemental articles and the like).
I'd like to get all the 'Week in Meat' content in there as well. It'll take some time, but keep checking back. Soon, we'll cover the world in meat! BWAHAHAHAHAHA

Like one of the classic devourers of literature, the blog 'is not dead which can eternal lie'.
The Carnivore Project has now napped long enough (if it sleeps any more, it'll be cranky for dinner). Rejoice, fellow meat-eaters, the blog has arisen!

An email I received this morning from the 'Secret Soybean':
After two years, this site has finally displaced the Mongolian Carnivore Project in the Google rankings.
That might not seem like much, but do you know how hard it is to compete wtih pictures like this?
According to a study conducted by the 'government-funded U.S. Studies Center at the University of Sydney', 67% of respondents said they were "not at all pleased" about the prevalence of U.S.-style fast food in Australia (CNN).
I do find this a little surprising - especially as the fast food chains have been doing their best to match their standards to that of the discerning Antipodean palate.
Rather than my usual lazy summary of my holiday's culinary bliss, here's something a little different...
For the hell of it, first (correct) response gets a Carnivore Project mug.
In my effort to increase the usage interactibility of my blogonet, I've faffed around some with the site.
Video is fun, so I've created a separate 'Meatia' category. So if you're ever in the mood to just... watch meat... that's where you should head.
I've moved the poll 'above the fold' (that's what we media-savvy members of the blogoweb call 'higher up on the page') in an attempt to increase voter turnout and decrease hanging chads. They were gumming up the works.
You can now 'subscribe' as well. I have no idea what that does, but I'm fairly certain you should all click that. Repeatedly.
It's all about the meat.
After a weekend of gluttony (Smith's of Smithfield! The Eagle! And, er... Zizzi's), a few reviews should be up shortly.
For now, I suggest you distract yourself with this strangely relevant insight.
