Kenyon Bajus
The Philadelphia-based Kenyon Bajus uses a combination of sarcasm and (unashamedly) potty humor to take shots at political and cultural events. Possibly his most well-known work is his McDonald's 'Vomit' series - I've even seen the stickers adorning (briefly) Leicester Square tube station.
As a geek (and a vaguely politically engaged one), I was really drawn to his satirical take on Captain America in a recent issue of Juxtapoz. [Note: I know! Juxtapoz subscription! I IZ STREET!].
A visit to his site turned up a terrific little online shop - as well as t-shirts and stickers - Kenyon sells high-quality, limited edition poster prints of his work. As the new owner of two of these prints, I can testify that they're printed on long-lasting, heavy-duty stock and boldly signed by the artist. (Also: much bigger than expected). Kenyon also threw in a handful of 'C-3PO is Gay' stickers, which is pretty much going the extra mile in customer service...
Kenyon's blog is also worth monitoring. As well as keeping readers up to date on magazine appearances, he frequently posts sketches, giving his take on current events. I'm particularly fond of this one.
